🚀 Getting Started

HydroQC Mini helps you quickly check and validate bathymetry data. This tool runs a quality assurance and control (QA/QC) process on your GeoTIFF files, generating useful reports and maps.

This guide will help you download and run the software without needing any programming skills. Just follow the steps below.

📦 Download & Install

Visit the Releases Page
To get the latest version of HydroQC Mini, visit the Releases page.
Choose the Right File
On the Releases page, you will see various files listed. Look for the file that matches your operating system:
- For Windows: Download HydroQC-Mini-Windows.exe
- For Mac: Download HydroQC-Mini-Mac.tar.gz
- For Linux: Download HydroQC-Mini-Linux.tar.gz
Download the File
Click on the appropriate file to start the download. Make sure to save it in an easy-to-find location, like your Desktop or Downloads folder.
Extract (if needed)
If you downloaded a .tar.gz file (for Mac or Linux), you will need to extract it:
- Right-click on the file and select “Extract” or use the command line:

tar -xzf HydroQC-Mini-Mac.tar.gz
```
  This will create a folder named HydroQC-Mini.
Run the Application
- For Windows, locate the HydroQC-Mini-Windows.exe file and double-click it to run.
- For Mac, open the folder you extracted, find HydroQC-Mini, and then double-click to run the application.
- For Linux, navigate to the folder in the terminal, and type:

./HydroQC-Mini
```
